True Lonesome Records announces the release of “Only Daddy That Will Walk The Line” from Nashville’s rising-star Joe Hott. Following the success of his chart-topping single “Trouble I Feel,” and the Gospel release, “Send The Light,” Hott now delivers a spirited bluegrass interpretation of the 1968 Waylon Jennings hit “Only Daddy That Will Walk The Line,” written by Ivy John Bryant Jr.

Recorded at Scott Vestal’s Digital Underground Studio in Nashville, and produced by True Lonesome Records Label Owner Eddie Sanders, the track showcases Hott’s signature vocals and an uptempo, rhythmic arrangement that will have you tapping your toes and singing along.

His lead single for True Lonesome Records, “Trouble I Feel,” co-written with Eddie Sanders, peaked at #1 multiple times on the Roots Music Report Traditional Bluegrass Song Chart and received extensive airplay on radio, including rotation on SiriusXM Radio.

With “Only Daddy That Will Walk The Line,” Hott once again showcases his heightened level of artistry and ability to lean into any style of music while remaining steadfast and true to his traditional bluegrass roots. The single is the third release from his forthcoming self-titled album, set for release early next year on True Lonesome Records.
